James McKibben has over 20 years experience in buying and selling Residential Homes, Recreational Property, Income Property and Vacant Land. He values exceeding the expectations of his buyer and his sellers, providing exceptional service, his knowledge of the real estate business and considers his clients as family first.

As a State of Michigan Licensed Realtor and Associate Broker, Jim prides himself as “Your Realtor For Life”, which is responsible for over 80% of his real estate business being from former clients and from referrals. Many of his buyers and sellers are now the 2nd and even the 3rd generations of families Jim has served.

Prior to real estate sales, James has also served 31 years as a Public School Teacher, School Principal, and as Director of General Education for Eaton County Intermediate School District. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree at Ball State University and a Master of the Arts Degree at Eastern Michigan University, holding teaching licenses in Michigan, Indiana, and Texas.

Jim has combined his formal education as an Educator and as a Realtor with a lifetime of meeting the needs of his family of students and home buyers and home sellers, resulting in one of Michigan’s Highest Quality Realtors. His office is adorned with the many awards and plaques James has been awarded, from the “State of Michigan’s Board of Education to the National, State & Greater Lansing Associations of Realtors.

In 1988, Jim met his wife Sandi McKibben, who several years later became a business partner with him and who is also a State of Michigan Licensed Realtor. Mrs. McKibben holds an Associate Degree in Business, from Lansing Community College. Prior to partnering with James, Sandi served in Real Estate Property Management and was the Office Manager for several area Real Estate Firms.
